More About Me

Kristina Blanco believes that sensitivity is a strength, a strength that she utilizes often when speaking up for herself, and her clients, in every situation. If you’re looking for an authentic and honest person at your side, you’ll love working with Kristina.

Experience and Expertise

Kristina’s background in schools as an ABA therapist and teacher makes her a definite people person! She intuitively understands people’s wants and needs, which can often be contradictory. Her skillful listening and her ability to pull out the nuances of a person’s perfect home allow her to provide the right information and steer a client to the best options to meet their needs.

Kristina came to real estate after experiencing a cross country move from San Diego to Surf City. As a military spouse, she worked with a local agent here while still living in California and was so impressed with the way the agent was able to help her get plugged into her new community quickly. It was difficult not knowing anyone, but they became friends, and eventual business partners. Her agent held a pivotal role in her life and made an impression – Kristina wanted to be that person for her clients.

In 2023, when Kristina decided to change brokerages, she chose Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Treasure. She says, “I was so impressed by the tools, training, mentorship, and the strong female role models at Treasure. I want to do for others what was done for me – help my clients get plugged into their community, be a valuable resource for all things, not just a transactional relationship.”

Staying and Getting Informed

Kristina looks to industry social media and publications for all the latest news and policies. She also never hesitates to reach out to those who know more – finding an expert in the area she needs to know about. To Kristina, being a real estate agent is all about building relationships, sharing information, educating yourself while also educating your clients so that every transaction goes smoothly. Treating people with generosity and compassion is the cornerstone of any great relationship.

Personal and Professional Philosophy

“I genuinely want to help people; I feel honored that a close friend recently chose me to help her with the sale of her home. That’s a lot of trust.” Kristina elaborates, “After the transaction you are now a part of their family, a part of their story. That’s just amazing.”

Kristina wants her clients to know, “I value honesty and authenticity in all things – from my personal relationships to my real estate clients. I only want the best outcome for you.”

Family Life

After meeting and then marrying her husband in 2018, Kristina relocated to the Topsail Area in 2020. Being new to the community, it was imperative to connect with a brokerage with strong ties and deep knowledge of the area. She hopes that she can bring a fresh perspective to her Treasure Team on what is important to new residents like her.

Kristina lives in Sneads Ferry with her husband, two children and their German Shepard, Benny. One of her personal goals is to read 40 books a year, and frequent as many of her favorite small boutiques and coffee shops while expanding her cooking skills with all the local seafood.
